8 weeks to go!

 Wow - this time in 8 weeks we'll be just an hour or so away from landing in Nairobi - its getting really exciting now. 

 On Sunday we met as a whole team for the first time - apart from Jane who will join us actually in Kenya, we had all 13 of us together. We worshipped and prayed, and talked about some of the detail of what we'll be doing. Its looking like its going to be really exciting with the opportunity to see and do lots of different things. I'm so grateful to our host organisations in Kenya. It was great to continue trying to learn some Swahili too, and find out a bit more about some of the cultural experiences while we're there - it is possible some of our team may get marriage proposals and there was much laughter over how many cows we would accept to marry one of the group off. :-)

 We also had another fundraiser - another incredibly successful cake and craft sale. Such brilliant things on display. I'm delighted to say we have now covered basic costs of the trip, and are now continuing to raise money and collect gifts to take with us to bless and resource those we are visiting.
