So there are now less than eleven weeks to go until we go to Kenya - its coming round quite quick now.
Everything I'm doing feels quite practical at the moment - applying for visas, DBS, filling out safeguarding and medical forms, creating risk assessments. Its all essential but its a lot - good job I like paper work - I just feel sorry for everyone else that I keep messaging or emailing telling them to do things. :-)
This is the boring part, the essential practical jobs, but its also exciting to think about what we'll be doing so soon. I'm really looking forwarding to spending time with Kenyan people, listening, experiencing, and helping where we can. We can't do a lot in two weeks, but we can see a lot and learn a lot, and I can't wait.
